PerfectStorm - Company information
The music publishing company, Perfect Storm Music Group AB, was founded fall 2010 by Jörgen Elofsson, Robin Godfrey Cass and the Swedish investment company Nouvago Capital AB.
Perfect Storm currently has nine international songwriters signed, that has written for artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Girls´ Generation, Mary J Blige, Christina Aguilera, Ciara and Phillip Phillips. The goal is to become the new generations hit machine by attracting more young upcoming songwriters and provide them with a broader platform to write on the international market.

Jörgens songs have been recorded by a vast range of artists throughout the world, such as Westlife, Kelly Clarkson, Celine Dion, Leona Lewis, Geri Haliwell, Shayne Ward, Will Young, Il Divo, Steps and many many more.
Born in Ängelholm, Sweden on January 14th, 1962, Jorgen started his music career at the age of 16. Upon playing an electric guitar at a friends house in 1978, Jörgen said, "I knew what was my true calling."
After performing in several bands, he landed himself a solo record deal with CBS Records in 1987, and released two albums under the artist name Shane. It wasn´t until 1993 when he wrote the song guld i dina ögon, which became a hit for Swedish megastar Carola, and as a result, Jörgen decided to become a full time songwriter.
Jörgen joined the now legendary Cheiron Studios which was spearheaded by Denniz Pop and Max Martin in 1997. Directly after, he caught his first international break with the song Will Be Yours written for Boyzone. His two songs on Britney Spears break through album Baby One More Time in 1999; Sometimes and You Drive Me Crazy are singles which turned Jörgen into a superstar songwriter! Since then, Jörgen has become one of the worlds most sought after songwriters with numerous hit songs, chart positions and awards following in his trail!

Godfrey-Cass
Robin Godfrey-Cass's diverse experience in the music industry has spanned over 25 years. In 1985, Godfrey-Cass was appointed Managing Director of Warner Chappell Music UK, where, at the age of 30, he was the youngest ever appointed Managing Director of a major publishing house. Godfrey-Cass was responsible for the worldwide signings of Eric Clapton, Michael Bolton, Howard Jones, Whitesnake, Bush and Radiohead, among many others.
Promoted in 1990 to Senior Vice President (Europe), in addition to his duties as Managing Director, Godfrey-Cass coordinated European Acquisitions for the company. During this time Godfrey-Cass was responsible for signing Genesis and Sting to worldwide publishing deals. From 1985 to 1995 Warner Chappell Music was the number one music publisher in the United Kingdom.
In 1995, Godfrey-Cass was recruited to run the West Coast operations of EMI Music Publishing in the United States, where he signed successful acts, including The Presidents of the United States of America, Bonnie Raitt, Lit and Dishwalla. In 1998, Godfrey-Cass returned to England to establish a joint-venture record label, Riverhorse, with Sony Music. Of the five records released by the label, three attained Top 10 status, selling over 10 million copies combined worldwide.
In 2004, Godfrey-Cass was recruited to advise a number of private equity start-up vehicles and to join the teams behind each of these to act as the source for acquiring grade-A music catalogs. Impressed with the caliber of catalogs and artists Godfrey-Cass brought to the table, after working with one such company, Godfrey-Cass was invited by its investors to set up a brand new entity, and Crosstown Songs was born.
Godfrey-Cass successfully ran Crosstown Songs for 3 years prior to the company's sale to BMG Rights. He was instrumental in acquiring the catalogs of Deston, Murlyn, John Reid, Palan, Neil Thrasher and many others. He established Crosstown Nashville with Dann Huff. Under Godfrey-Cass's reign Crosstown became one of the most successful of the "mini-major" publishing houses.
Nouvago Capital AB is an investment company with focus on lifestyle-related businesses in the global market, both startups and more mature companies. Nouvago Capital is a subsidiary of the Swedish investment company Servisen Investment Management AB.
